From the foot of the hill to the summit, there are 3,800 stone-cut steps and atop the hill is a cluster of Jain temples built by generations of Jains over a period of 900 years. Whilst all the 863 shrines are considered sacred, the temple dedicated to Adishwara, the first Jain apostle, is the most revered and striking. Afterwards, descend and drive to Sasan Gir National Park.
